Job Description

Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates at GE HealthCare Israel, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of medical equipment and supplies in a compliant and safe environment.


Job Responsibilities

* Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
* Allocate tasks and monitor team performance to meet productivity targets and quality standards.
* Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
* Conduct regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
* Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
* Ensure compliance with all internal GE Medical Systems Israel Ltd policies, as well as external regulatory requirements (e.g., medical device regulations, safety standards).
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse flow.
* Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and team productivity.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, quality, and production, to ensure smooth operations.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
* Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
* Proficiency in Hebrew and English (written and spoken).
* Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
