Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys solving problems, working across teams, and helping stakeholders get answers quickly? We are looking for a highly organized and customer service-oriented Warehouse Support Coordinator to serve as a key point of contact between the warehouse and internal stakeholders, including Miller’s internal customer service team, sales team, and divisions.

This role will help support order issue resolution, order status inquiries, expediting requests, inventory visibility, and communication across the business. This individual will be a subject matter expert around warehouse processes, policies, system workflows, and customer expectations.

You will play an important role in helping ensure orders move efficiently through the fulfillment process while delivering a positive experience for internal stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Order Support and Issue Resolution

  • Serve as a primary warehouse point of contact for internal customer service, sales, and division teams.
  • Support internal customers by providing clear updates on order progress, constraints, and expected next steps in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
  • Research order issues, identify root causes, and help coordinate resolution with the appropriate teams.
  • Escalate issues when needed to ensure customer-impacting concerns receive the right level of attention.
  • Analyze recurring order issues and identify trends that can be addressed through process improvements, training, or system enhancements.

Order Expediting and Prioritization

  • Work with warehouse leadership and operations teams to determine what can realistically be expedited based on inventory availability, labor capacity, shipping constraints, and business priority.
  • Communicate expedite status and expected outcomes to customer service, sales, and division partners.

Inventory and Order Visibility

  • Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and order status to support timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor open orders and inventory exceptions to identify potential customer impacts before they occur.
  • Partner with warehouse, planning, customer service, and division teams to help resolve inventory-related order issues.
  • Support proactive communication when inventory or fulfillment constraints may delay shipment.

Process and System Knowledge

  • Use available systems and reporting tools to research order status, shipment progress, inventory availability, and related order information.
  • Help identify process gaps, recurring issues, or communication breakdowns that impact order flow or customer experience.
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing feedback and recommending practical process improvements.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Build strong working relationships with customer service, sales, divisions, transportation, planning, and warehouse operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives designed to improve order flow, inventory accuracy, communication, and customer satisfaction.
  • Help translate warehouse constraints and process requirements into practical updates for the business.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, logistics, customer service, or order management experience preferred.
  • Experience working with internal customers, sales teams, customer service teams, or cross-functional business partners preferred.
  • Basic understanding of order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience using ERP, warehouse management, transportation, or reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior customer service or order management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, a Transportation Management System, Warehouse Management System, or similar ERP/logistics platform.
  • Experience supporting order expediting, issue resolution, inventory inquiries, or shipment tracking.
  • Familiarity with business rules, order prioritization, warehouse workflows, and customer-facing issue resolution.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial business environment.
