Elections Alberta is an independent, non-partisan office of the Legislature. Elections Alberta is responsible for administering provincial elections, by-elections and referenda. Our mission is to serve Albertans as an independent election management body committed to the administration of modern, transparent, and accessible democratic processes that ensure the integrity and enhance the value of Alberta’s electoral system.
The Warehouse Support is responsible for performing a range of logistical and operational tasks to ensure the efficient management of equipment and supplies. The role also involves assembling and certifying equipment kits and shipments of election supplies, which are critical for the operation of provincial electoral events. This includes carefully organizing, sorting, packing, and lifting materials and equipment weighing up to 23 kg/50 lbs to ensure all necessary items are ready for delivery to various returning offices across the province.
Once the events conclude, this position also supports the return of these supplies to the warehouse. This includes unpacking, disassembling, organizing, and storing the materials for future use. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
