Your Role at KIK
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a pool chemical manufacturing and distribution facility. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with production, quality, transportation, and customer service teams to maintain inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time customer deliveries while adhering to all safety and environmental requirements.
What You’ll Do
Manage and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, staging, and inbound/outbound shipping to support production and customer requirements
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement by conducting inspections, supporting audits and investigations, maintaining SOPs, and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, service levels, and inventory accuracy
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 or more years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
Strong knowledge of all processes and capabilities to manage inventory and warehouse operations processes for complex materials in a chemical manufacturing environment
Solid background in warehouse operations and distribution centers, inventory control and execution, and movement of critical material, consumables, and equipment
Understanding of plant operations, transportation, logistics, storage, and processing including safety and security, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards
Experience using SAP or warehouse management systems
Knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse operations
Familiarity with hazardous material handling and regulatory requirements
Strong organizational and exceptional problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead and influence others while maintaining positive working relationships
Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
Hazmat shipping certification preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and respiratory protection when required
