Job Location: Baton Rouge-6 - Baton Rouge, LA 70815
Position Type: Full TimeTo direct and control all 3rd shift warehouse activities including order selection, replenishment, QA, and loading of product to maximize the efficiency and safety of the warehouse operations. Develop, manage and lead an excellent team dedicated to the accomplishment of the warehouse functions to standards representative of the Crescent Crown Distributing Vision

QualificationsRequirements (Include):
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three (3) years of leadership experience in a related field.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse duties;
- Highly professional, with ability to interface will all levels of the organization;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Warehouse Management Systems;
- Demonstrated team-building and leadership skills;
- Ability to handle stress and hold personnel accountable to established policies and procedures;
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team;
- Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and practice ethical conduct;
- Promotes and observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly;
- Commitment to safety program and dedication to Vision/Mission;
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis, and ensures that work responsibilities are covered when absent;
- Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate;
- Ability to regularly lift/carry at least 50 lbs. and occasionally push/pull at least 240 lbs.
- Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout warehouse;
- Able to maneuver a dolly effectively,
- Able to operate necessary equipment (including, but not limited to forklift, pallet-jack) and maintain certification.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment;
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, changes in temperature and humidity, dusty conditions, high places, vibration, and machinery with moving parts.
