
Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Supervised by: Manager
Supervisor is the front-line leader for operations who is responsible and accountable for Safety, Quality, and Productivity. The individual will work in support of and under the direction of the Manager and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provides leadership to team and directs the warehouse department in hand picking, packaging, loading, unloading trucks.
· Effectively cross trains personnel and recommends skill development to achieve departmental goals.
· Sets work assignments for team members.
· Inspects all job assignments for quality and completion.
· Inspects all areas and equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met.
· Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards.
· Demonstrates problem solving and decision-making ability regarding day-to-day operations and can successfully run the department in the absence of the Manager.
· Provide accurate feedback to the manager regarding employee performance reviews and discipline.
· Effectively utilize time available to achieve results through proper delegation of work, control over ongoing projects and prioritizing demands.
· Minimize conflict within the department and encourage open lines of communication, treating all staff fairly, fostering team spirit, and maintaining an air of professionalism and credibility.
· Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn and share knowledge
· Other duties as assigned or required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Leads employees in the UHT DC. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Carries out supervisory roles and responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

· The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
