Job Description

Rollease Acmeda is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Melbourne warehouse.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising warehouse employees, coordinating inbound and outbound freight, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving safety and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the National Distribution Manager to ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and in line with our service and cost objectives.

What you will be doing:

• Leading, coordinating and providing daily direction to warehouse employees
• Managing inbound and outbound freight, including loading and unloading vehicles and containers
• Liaising with freight and logistics providers
• Ensuring goods are received accurately into the ERP system
• Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts, investigations and audits
• Monitoring picking errors, credit claims and product quality issues
• Supporting KPI reporting, toolbox meetings, 5S and Lean activities
• Training and coaching employees in warehouse procedures and SOPs
• Promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with EHS requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes, housekeeping and storage utilisation

What we are looking for:

• At least three years’ experience in a similar warehouse supervisory position
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a warehouse team
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Experience with inventory control and inbound and outbound freight operations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence working with employees, management and external logistics providers
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• A current forklift licence.
