We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to support the Management Team with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, responsible for a group of warehouse Associates, MHE operators, cycle counters & General workers and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, checking any issues, and ensuring operational targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operations Oversight: Coordinate the daily workflow of the Inventory and outbound floor, ensuring all orders are received, picked and loaded and all movements are done accurately.
- Overseeing Inventory Management, stock controlling and attention to detail.
- Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and evaluate outbound and Inventory staff. Foster a safe, accountable, and highly productive work environment.
- Logistics, Inventory & Outbound: Track orders to ensure they are picked, invoice and loaded in time, and stock is moved, systematically and physically.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels ensure all stock movements are done accurately.
- Quality Control: Check and audit all stock that is picked to guarantee customer order fulfilment is 100%.
- Ensure that stock loaded is checked by delivery driver and accountability is then signed off. Ensure 100% Inventory accuracy.
- Systems Management: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to track inventory and outbound deliveries.
- Ensure all reports always kept up to date and daily communicated.
- Ensure 5 S principles are conducted in every area of responsibility.
- Staff Discipline (time and attendance, PPE, not following procedure, failure to follow reasonable instruction, etc).
- Staff engagement (meetings, motivations toolbox talks etc.).
- Ensure upkeep of strict time and attendance by yourself and your team.
- Ensure Maersk code of conduct is compiled by yourself and your teams.
- Leadership development (personal and team).
- Ensure any deviation to company policy and code of conduct and illegal activity is reported.
- Ensure Consumables are checked in your department, and not abused, and shortages reported promptly.
- Ensure that company assets are taken care of in your department and any breakage or missing item is reported.
Performance Reporting: Monitor KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery rates, error rates, order turnaround) and report progress to senior management. As per below:
- On time order picking 99.9%
- On time order invoice 99.9%
- On time scanning at 99.9%
- On time order loading 99.9%
- On time returns received, stock isolated for credit processing 99.9%
- Ensure on time Stock put- away after credit complete 99.9%
- Daily Attendance at 99.9 %
- Ensure Inventory Procedures and protocols are adhered to 100%
- Ensure that inventory accuracy is 100%
Compliance and Safety:
- Enforce warehouse safety policies.
- Ensure proper use of material handling equipment.
- Maintain clean and organized picking and loading bay.
- Ensure all emergency exits in your working area are kept clear of obstructions.
- Ensure all fire extinguishers are kept clear of obstructions.
- Ensure that all staff are adhering to PPE requirements.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Requirement Grade 12 or equivalent. A relevant degree in coordination, business administration, or supply chain management is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in warehouse or supply chain operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Ability in MS Excel, WMS platforms, and warehouse reporting tools.
- Physical Demands: Requires the ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift heavy items in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
