Move forward as Warehouse Supervisor at DSV in ‘s-Heerenberg

Are you a people-focused manager with experience in logistics? As a warehouse supervisor at DSV, you lead the outbound process for our fashion clients. Working in a 2-shift system, you ensure that every order leaves our warehouse on time and meets the highest quality standards.

Providing effective operational leadership to our warehouse team. With your energy, leadership skills and ability to maintain oversight, you motivate your team and provide clear direction every day: you’re on it.

How you do this? As a warehouse supervisor, you are responsible for coordinating and managing your team. You safeguard quality standards and communicate effectively with different departments and our clients. You monitor the daily schedule, continuously track progress and translate performance data into clear KPI reports. You also identify operational issues or deviations at an early stage and take swift, appropriate action. Your team consists of approximately 25 to 30 employees. You achieve this by:

• conducting performance and development reviews, managing sickness absence and leading employee meetings, while keeping employees informed both individually and through Blue Box team meetings;
• monitoring quality, productivity and the safe execution of our logistics processes, based on daily and weekly schedules and in accordance with DSV procedures;
• actively contributing to improvement projects in collaboration with engineering, project management and IT, developing and optimising these projects and celebrating the results with your team.

You bring

• demonstrable experience in logistics and in a leadership role, with the ability to provide clear direction and engage employees;
• experience with warehouse management systems or the ability to quickly learn how to use new systems;
• a good command of English, with proficiency in Dutch considered an advantage;
• flexibility, resilience and the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic working environment, with approximately 50% of your time spent on the warehouse floor;
• experience working with a diverse, international team and creating a positive and efficient working environment.

• a full-time position of 40 hours per week in a 2-shift system, generally from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00, although shift times may occasionally vary;
• 24 days of annual leave, 4 additional days off and 8% holiday allowance;
• a favourable pension scheme, partly funded by DSV, with an employee contribution of only 5%;
