Our globally recognised company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organized Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our Perth Warehouse team.
This role is based at the industry’s largest removal facility in Perth (over 20,000m3!), which serves as the central hub for our West Australia operations, playing a critical role in delivering operational excellence and customer satisfaction across the state. Our warehouse hosts international & domestic transit as well as long term storage facilities.
About the role:
The Warehouse Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership of warehouse employees and oversees the movement and storage of household goods, commercial freight and customer inventory within general storage, transit storage and bonded (customs-controlled) warehouse areas. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy and exceptional service delivery while maintaining a strong safety culture.
Some duties include (but not limited to);
▪ Supervise the daily operation of the warehouse and depot including the coaching and support warehouse employees.
▪ Ensure all freight is received, stored and dispatched accurately and within required timeframes.
▪ Prepare/Check legible and correct inventories and outturns when clients effects are being received into, moved around and/or dispatched from the warehouse.
▪ Supervision of the receipt, storage, security and distribution of all packing materials and other inventory (crates, recycle and rubbish materials)
▪ Oversee operations within Customs-controlled bonded warehouse facilities.
▪ Ensure compliance with Australian Border Force, Customs and company requirements.
▪ Promote and maintain a strong safety culture that complies with WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
▪ Maintenance of a high standard of order and cleanliness in the warehouse and surrounds
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a proactive and reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment. You'll bring practical warehousing or removals experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the confidence to lead by example. If you're organised, hands-on, and can effectively support and guide others while ensuring operational excellence, you'll be a great fit for our team.
Ideal skills and experience:
▪ Experience in household goods/removals, logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
▪ Natural leadership ability with experience supervising or mentoring team members.
▪ International freight, household goods moving and warehousing experience is advantageous.
▪ Certificate III or IV in Supply Chain Operations is highly regarded.
▪ Forklift licence and/or truck licence preferred.
▪ Basic computer skills with experience using inventory management systems.
▪ A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes.
▪ Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
