Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain or Logistics

Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 3 to 6 years relevant and successful operational experience in Warehouse management, Transportation and Distribution.

Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to effectively manage operations within the scope of its distribution center such that the deliverables are achieved in a cost-efficient manner, in compliance with best practices and while ensuring timely completion of customer orders.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Supervisor:

• Ensure Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations and Best Practices within warehousing operations.
• To ensure a well-coordinated end-to-end management of inbound, outbound and all related activities.
• Ensure clear understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive the consistent achievement of these KPIs.
• Ensure optimum utilization of all available resources including labour and material handling equipment, etcetera.
• Drive strict adherence to best warehouse practices including First Expired-First Out (FEFO), traceability, etcetera.
• Develop a problem-solving mindset within the team to proactively drive improvement initiatives including waste reduction.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and performance of the warehouse operations.
• Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at the factory, Supply Chain and Procurement units, and external partners as Suppliers, Customs and Transport providers.
