About the role:

Tuesday to Saturday from 2:10pm till 10:21pm - Afternoon Shift.

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 8 warehouse operatives within our FMCG distribution environment.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of food safety and
compliance, and driving team performance in a fast-paced chilled production and
logistics setting.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads from the front, and has strong experience in FMCG warehousing.

Key Responsibilities but not limited too:

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of ~8 warehouse operatives
  • Allocate daily task and ensure shift productivity targets are met
  • Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety-first culture
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfilment
  • Monitor workflow to ensure cold chain integrity and product quality standards are maintained

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to HACCP, food safety standards, and WHS regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and audit readiness across all warehouse areas
  • Report and investigate incidents, hazards, and non-conformances

Inventory & Systems

  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock reconciliation
  • Use WMS/ERP systems to track stock movement and resolve discrepancies
  • Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure supply chain alignment

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor team KPIs including picking accuracy, order turnaround time, and productivity
  • Report operational performance, issues, and improvements to the Warehouse Manager

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Leading Hand in FMCG, food manufacturing, or cold chain logistics
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfilment processes
  • Experience working in temperature-controlled environments (chilled/frozen highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate small teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and WHS compliance Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Forklift licence (LF) preferred
