Job Shift: Full TimeUnder the direction of the Warehouse Manager, this position has the responsibility to develop and maintain staff and coordinate and support the management of warehouse processes.  To ensure achievement of high levels of efficiency and economical costs and support operational / customer driven requirements.
- Assist in implementing systems, procedures, develop / monitor KPI’s and methodologies for ensuring maximum through-put and efficient use of resources.
- Respond to questions regarding daily work procedures, provide training and assign work in a manner which maximizes production output
- Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains quality by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Perform warehouse tasks as needed to ensure completion of orders.
- Work with team to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Effectively communicate problems and present solutions to individuals to promote knowledge flow within the business relating to service issues.
- Participate in cross functional teams to manage and provide processing input for cross functional productivity, efficiency and quality standards.
- Participate in warehouse planning to efficiently manage backlogs and manpower requirements by consistently assessing workflow to make appropriate adjustments to conserve resources without compromising efficiency
- Utilize time keeping systems and attendance reporting and Labor Distribution reporting.
- Maintain a positive departmental attitude and ensure that all employees under your supervision are aligned with company goals.
- Directly and indirectly supervise employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Supervise employees with the objective of maintaining good employee relations, safety, productivity and quality with constant emphasis on continuous improvement. Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, training plans, cross training plans, delegating, assigning, directing, coaching, motivating, performance evaluation, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
- Two year degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical discipline with knowledge or skill in warehouse procedures and processes.
- Warehouse experience desired.
- At least 3+ years of warehouse management and supervisory experience.
- Effective communication with employees at all levels as well as strong supervisory skills.
- This position is subject to additional hours based on production needs.
- Process driven, utilize and analyze data to evaluate, improve processes and present to management as required.
- Provide vision to subordinates that are consistent with strategic initiatives to improve processes and grow the business.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and prioritized work assignments.
- Effective communication with employees at all levels as well as strong supervisory skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with requisite skill in prioritizing to meet deadlines as necessary.
- Must be able to work in a production environment that may be subject to varied temperatures and other conditions, such as noise (conveyor), dust and glue or adhesives.  Close and distant vision, using hands and fingers to handle and feel, talk and hear, sitting, lifting up to 10 lbs. frequently.  Standing and walking, lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Required to float throughout the work area and move from zone to zone as workload requires.
