Job Description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to be based in Singapore to maintain inventory accuracy and assisting in the smooth execution of day-to-day warehouse activities in compliance with all safety regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

  1. Supervise and provide guidance to Warehouse Support team, including training, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  2. Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide coaching for team development.

2. Inventory Management:

  1. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by overseeing and arrange regular stock check and daily cycle counts.
  2. Ensure accurate records between system and physical stock to address any discrepancies promptly.

3. Order Fulfillment:

  1. Coordinate the picking, packing and shipment of orders to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
  2. Oversee the accurate preparation of export shipment and raw material support production.

4. Safety Compliance:

  1. Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a hazard-free and compliant warehouse environment.
  2. Stay informed about workplace safety regulations and awareness to operation teams ensure they follow safety procedures.

5. Equipment & Facilities:

  1. Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse Material handling Equipment (MHE). Collaborate with supplier to coordinate on all servicing and repairing tasks to ensure without any impact for warehouse activities.
  2. Oversee the cleanliness of the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.

6. Document & Reporting:

  1. Maintains accurate documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse activities.
  2. Generate regular reports on near miss, incident case, and corrective action preventive action (CAPA) and operational metrics.

7. Problem Solving & Communication:

  1. Adress any operational challenges, such as shipment delayed, inventory shortage, and order discrepancies in a timely manner.
  2. Maintain effective communication with Warehouse operation team and other department to ensure smooth operations and order fulfilment.

8. Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance warehouse operations, streamline workflows and cost saving.

9. To provide backup for Warehouse Specialist in the following areas:

  1. Assist to perform receive MRO and spare parts.
  2. Assist to perform receive incoming raw materials.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum O level, Certificate or Diploma, in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed, and the responsibilities may evolve over time based on business needs.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field.

Soft Skills:

  • Certified with 6-Sigma Yellow Belt.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement with proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Basics, and Leader Standard Work (LSW).

Specific Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint and ERP system.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and inventory.
  • Able to perform work in the presence of stress.

Others:

  • Forklift driving license.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good report writing skills.
