RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes and maintains logical locations for all parts and notes location in computer by part number
- Employs systems to minimize obsolescence
- Develops systems for receiving, shipping, logging, tracking, and controlling all parts and related documentation daily
- Assists accounting with any claims, credit, or inventory discrepancies as requested
- Stocks and posts incoming orders
- Reviews special inventory to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock
- Ensures that credits are issued for customer returned parts
- Returns cores in a timely manner and follows up for receipt of credit
- Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory
- Assists in monthly parts returns
- Assists counter people with check, insurance, and credit card processing when possible
- Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
- Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts
- Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked
- Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered
- Maintains professional appearanceQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus.
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
