Job Description

emergiTEL is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in the pulp and paper manufacturing industry. This is a Permanent role.
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
Location: Edmundston, N.B.

  • Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of purchasing and warehouse activities at the pulp mill.
  • Manage procurement processes, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Secure competitive pricing, maintain quality standards, and ensure a seamless supply chain for daily and strategic needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier research and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels to ensure availability of materials for operations.
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff, including inventory management and replenishment processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency and operational readiness.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, supplier communications, and procurement documentation.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or contract administration, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Nice to Have
  • Degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SCMP or CPSM.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.

  • Superviser le bon fonctionnement des activités d’approvisionnement et de l’entrepôt à l’usine de pâte.
  • Gérer les processus d’approvisionnement en conformité avec les directives de l’entreprise et favoriser l’amélioration continue.
  • Obtenir les meilleurs prix, maintenir des normes de qualité élevées et assurer une chaîne d’approvisionnement efficace.
  • Agir comme point de contact principal pour les fournisseurs, répondre aux questions et résoudre les problèmes.
  • Négocier les contrats et les ententes d’achat avec les fournisseurs.
  • Rechercher de nouveaux fournisseurs et identifier des opportunités d’économies et d’amélioration opérationnelle.
  • Maintenir des niveaux d’inventaire précis afin d’assurer la disponibilité des matériaux nécessaires aux opérations.
  • Superviser le personnel d’entrepôt, incluant la gestion des inventaires et des réapprovisionnements.
  • Collaborer avec les autres départements pour optimiser l’efficacité et la préparation opérationnelle de l’entrepôt.
  • Effectuer des tâches administratives telles que la saisie de données, la communication avec les fournisseurs et la documentation des achats.
Exigences
  • 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en approvisionnement, logistique ou administration de contrats, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
Atouts
  • Diplôme en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, administration des affaires, finance ou domaine connexe.
  • Certifications professionnelles telles que SCMP ou CPSM.
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais) est considéré comme un atout.
