Warehouse Storeperson – Day Shift and Afternoon Shift Positions Available

Apex Steel Supplies is one of South Australia’s leading manufacturers and distributors of steel products, servicing both domestic and commercial markets. Our product range includes
roofing, gutters, downpipes, purlins, fencing, structural steel, and home improvement solutions.

Due to continued business growth, we currently have multiple Warehouse Storeperson positions available across a variety of shifts within our Structural Steel team. We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused individuals to join our growing operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, stack, relocate, and replenish structural steel products
  • Operate scanning equipment for inventory control
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Operate various types of forklifts
  • Perform manual handling and general warehouse duties
  • Adhere to all OHS and workplace safety procedures at all times
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

To Be Successful in this role, You Will Have:

  • A strong understanding of OHS and warehouse safety requirements
  • Previous experience in the steel or manufacturing industry (highly desirable)
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF) (desirable)
  • Gantry Crane Licence (CB) (highly desirable)
  • Experience using scanners and inventory systems
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • A positive attitude, with a proactive and safety-first mindset
