Job Description

Key Position Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes

1. Undertake Warehousing Duties:
Carry out general warehousing duties in a timely manner in accordance with site policies and procedures.
Outcome:

  • Tasks are completed within specified timeframes while adhering to site guidelines

2. Inward Goods Receipting and Inspection:
Receive and inspect incoming goods in line with site procedures.
Outcome:

  • Inward goods are receipted accurately
  • Any non-conformances are promptly communicated to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Goods are stored in accordance with site requirements

3. Picking, Packing and Dispatch:
Undertake picking, packing, and dispatch of products in an efficient, safe, and accurate manner.
Outcome:

  • Orders are prepared on time to meet dispatch cut-off requirements
  • Products are picked and packed accurately
  • All supporting documentation is completed and filed daily

4. Inventory Control (Cycle Counts):
Complete assigned cycle counts and product reconciliations as required.
Outcome:

  • Cycle counts are conducted daily in line with site procedures
  • Stock discrepancies are identified and reconciled promptly

5. Storage and Material Handling:
Undertake storage activities using forklifts, lifting devices, and manual handling techniques.
Outcome:

  • Stock is stored safely and without damage
  • Equipment is used in accordance with safety and site requirements

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required or preferred for this position:

Mandatory:

  • Current Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Forklift)

Desired:

  • Certificate III or IV in Warehousing Operations or a related field
