Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Storekeeper

Department: Factory Supply Chain

Reporting To: Factory Supply Chain Manager

The Warehouse Storekeeper manages a team of Warehouse Assistants and supports the Warehouse Excecutives and Factory Supply Chain Manager in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. The role ensures efficient inventory control, compliance with warehouse procedures, safe operations, and accurate material handling for raw materials, packaging materials, HALB, and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control

  1. Ensure receipt, storage, internal and external movement, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, HALB, and finished goods comply with warehouse management policies and operational guidelines
  1. Oversee and manage warehouse inventory to ensure accuracy, availability, and traceability
  1. Ensure proper pallet management to support traceability and operational efficiency
  1. Conduct cycle counts for raw materials, packaging materials, saleable HALB, and finished goods
  1. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports
  1. Report stock discrepancies, damages, slow-moving items, and variances identified during cycle counts
  1. Maintain accurate records for receiving, issuing, transfers, and dispatches
  1. Update inventory transactions accurately in the system (e.g. SAP) and ensure data integrity
  1. Provide timely operational updates and exception reports to the Factory Supply Chain Manager
  1. Ensuring on-time physical disposal and system clearance
  1. Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
  1. Assist the Factory Supply Chain Manager and warehouse executive in day-to-day warehouse coordination
  1. Maintain accurate records and reports related to inventory and warehouse activities

Team Supervision & Scheduling

  1. Supervise Warehouse Assistants to ensure timely and accurate execution of administrative and operational tasks
  1. Act as the first-level supervisor for warehouse personnel
  1. Plan and manage work schedules for warehouse staff to meet operational requirements

Safety & Compliance

  1. Ensure safe working conditions for forklift drivers and warehouse personnel
  1. Monitor adherence to safety rules, SOPs, and warehouse best practices
  1. Report any incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions that may compromise safety

Job Requirements

  1. Certified Forklift Operating License (mandatory)
  1. Prior experience in warehouse/storekeeping operations
  1. Experience using SAP and Excel is an advantage
  1. Ability to manage and supervise a small team
  1. Willingness to work during normal office hours and support rotating shifts on an ad-hoc basis
