The LD&T Supervisor will oversee and coordinate between office staff, warehouse associates, carriers, suppliers, and customers; leading Frontline staff to deliver customers on time and accurately. While delivering core metrics and upholding safety, quality, cost, and service metrics. Generates and controls shipping documents in conformance with state and federal DOT and hazmat regulations. Monitors operation of order SAP picking radio frequency (r/f) system. Operating Budget, Inventory Value, Shipping & Receiving 30-50 Loads per week. The position will ensure operations are executed in accordance with SOP/best practices. Ensures inventory accuracy; payroll approval is executed accurately and efficiently. Develops and refines scheduling techniques and warehouse layout to assist in achieving warehousing targets. Support AIB requirements and serve as an alternate for the DC manager. Focus is control of inventory, by ensuring proper processing of all inbound and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Annual Operating Plan - adherence to operating plan and productivity targets
  • Warehouse Performance - execute in accordance with SOP practices & procedures including SOP data collection and reporting
  • Product Integrity - ensure product stewardship/integrity starting at inbound through outbound including storage and handling
  • Warehouse Productivity - manage warehouse productivity through best practices, adherence to SOPs and identifying continuous improvement opportunities; execute facility layout & product put-away strategies
  • Inventory Accuracy - manage inventory (700+ SKUs) of concentrate + Conduct and reconcile cycle counts
  • Customer Service - ensure customer service levels are maintained or exceeded
  • Regulatory - Compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory requirements (EPA, DOT, OSHA, HAZMAT) including, but not limited to, proper permitting, licenses, and employee training
  • Cash Flow Management - operate as a requisitioner in SAP to generate Purchase Req’s and approve DC payroll in the Kronos Time Management system
  • IT Systems - perform as on-site IT Point-of-Contact & SAP P17 systems subject matter expert
  • Measure: Troubleshoot issues as needed, liaison with BIS Team
  • Compliance with all Manufacturing GMP and Plant Food Safety Policies
  • Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards
  • Follow all applicable facility health, safety, and environmental requirements (e.g. PPE policy) and procedures for reporting incidents and/or injuries per the PepsiCo Employee Handbook.
  • Understand and follow all regulatory and company policy / training, to include, i.e., applicable RCRA and DOT training
  • Authority to provide resources, provide guidance authority to act immediately upon or correct safety risks
  • Drives continuous improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GEHSMS programs and procedures though active participation in the near miss/good catch program
  • As a Control Owner: Ensure adequate control design and effective execution as required. Test controls as determined by GCS sample size and recommend control documentation updates as required”
  • The individual in this position will be required to become proficient in all aspects of DC operations and will serve as the back-up to the LD&T Manager in his or her absence
  • Authorized to make decisions to resolve minor EHS conditions/issues
  • Has Stop Work Authority

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years’ experience in Logistics
  • Two to four (2-4) years of warehouse management experience (union and non-union a plus). People Leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills: SAP experience preferred, Microsoft business applications, basic data base systems, radio frequency (r/f) & Warehouse Management Systems experience a plus
  • Excellent communications and problem-solving skills; ability to exercise initiative within guidelines
  • Familiarity with local & federal regulatory guidelines including, but not limited to DOT, OSHA, EPA and Hazmat
  • Able to train workforce and supervise program planning and implementation to meet regulatory requirements
