Job Description

The WarehouseSpecialistresponsible for receiving,incoming inspection, release,storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse, and to transport goods and materials efficiently and on timeat multiple facilities in the Los Angeles Area (SantaMonica, CAand Tarzana, CA).This role plays a keypartinmaintainingaccurateinventory, supporting shipping/receiving functions,timelydeliveriesand ensuring a clean and safe work environment.This positionreportto the Warehouse Associate Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

WarehouseManagement

  • Load, unload, and move materials using handtruck, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

  • Receive all incoming shipments and act as a primary point of contact for deliveries to the warehouse.

  • Process incoming material receipt and collect certificates for material release, asrequired

  • Accurately enter data into inventory systems (manual or electronic).

  • Ensure materials are handled and stored safely in compliance with safety regulations.

  • Reportsany damaged or missinginventory tomanagement.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, shelves, and work areas.

  • Dispense raw materials to support GMP manufacturing and development operations, including monitoringKanbanarea to ensureoptimalreplenishment of materials.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts and inventory management transactions to ensure accuracyinERPsystem

  • Organize and maintain GMP warehouse and in-use material storage unitsareas

  • Manage assets through CMMS and EMS.

  • Work closely with lab manager(s) to ensure supply and availability of materials for development labs.

  • Support drugproductand/or sample shipment pack-out.

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

General

  • Safelyoperatecompany-assigned vehicle (box truck) to deliver goods between Tarzana, CA and Santa Monica, CA.

  • Performs pre-trip,en-route, and post trip inspections ofvehicle,reportany mechanical issues andmaintainscleanliness ofvehicle

  • Adhere to company policiesregardingtransportation, safety, and confidentiality of cargo.

  • Support processes for inventory management, master data management,kanban, materials flows, and other related capabilities.

  • Support new material qualification efforts, tech transfer projects, and process improvements.

  • Partner with key collaborators to ensure materials meet the needs of the business and incorporate continuous improvement.

  • Identifyexcess,obsoleteand end of shelf-life inventories.

  • Support generation and data collection for metrics and reports.

  • Handle and bring up material supply risks to internal collaboratorsCollaborate cross‑functionally to develop and implement mitigation plans.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, cooperation, cross-functional inclusion, execution excellence, effectivecommunicationand cross-functional problem-solving to become a high‑performing team.

  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Experience using inventory management, asset management and environmental monitoring systems such as ERP (Netsuite), CMMS (Blue Mountain)andEMS (Vaisala).

  • Experience inbiotechpharma industry, specifically cell therapy.

  • Must be diligent with exceptionalorganizationskills.

  • Developssolutions to a variety of complex problems.

  • Work independently and plan schedules and activities toaccomplishobjectives

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.

Education and Requirements:

  • Minimum of2+ years Supply Chain/ Materials Management experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry,cell therapy preferred.

  • Direct experience and knowledge inwarehouses, and/or materials planning/procurement.

  • Experience working in a GMP manufacturing facility.

  • Mustbe on-site.

  • MinimumHS Diplomarequired

  • Frequentlystand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.    

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push/pull, or otherwise move 1025/50 pounds regularly/occasionally

  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders/stairs while carrying 102550 pounds

  • Must be able to lift from ground floor, knee height and up to above head

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $65,153.60 to $97,730.40 [ Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
