Step into a vital role as a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate where your expertise in handling shipments and inventory will support a global leader in climate control products.

This position involves managing the flow of materials, supplies, and finished products through shipping and receiving processes. You will work under general supervision to ensure accurate verification, packing, and routing of goods, while also operating standup forklifts to facilitate warehouse operations. • PAY RATE: 21.00 hour
• HOURS: 8:30am to 5pm
• LOCATION: Depew, NY 14043
• POSITION: Right to Hire

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification (required)
• Experience operating standup forklifts (required)
• Drug test clearance
• Background check clearance
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electric RCs
• Scan gun experience
• Some computer skills
