About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Hungary is a subsidiary of BYD, which is an important part of BYD's international business in response to Hungarian customers and the whole European market. As an essential part of the new energy field, BYD's battery business opening up all linkes in the entire industrial chain of energy from harvesting to storage, to application.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Systems

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including:
  Receiving | Inbound | Storage | Outbound | Inventory Management

• Experience with WMS / ERP / SAP systems

• Ability to monitor and optimize daily warehouse processes.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Able to analyze and report key warehouse KPIs:
  Inventory Accuracy | In/Out Quantity | Order Processing Efficiency | Inventory Variance

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and provide data-driven improvement suggestions.

Lean Improvement & Process Optimization

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement principles

• Proven experience in process optimization projects with measurable results:
  Efficiency Improvement | Inventory Accuracy Enhancement | Waste Reduction

Team Management & Communication

• Experience managing multicultural teams (Chinese-Hungarian)

• Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills

• Ability to solve workforce-related issues and support team development.

Compliance & Safety

• Knowledge of EU warehouse regulations and Hungarian labor standards

• Strong awareness of safety, compliance, and operational standards

Personal Competencies

• Strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving ability

• Good skills in team motivation, training, and employee development

• Able to work in a high-pressure warehouse environment and handle urgent situations:
  System Issues | Emergency Orders | Operational Problems

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or above.

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience

• Experience in automotive / power battery industry is highly preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of team management experience with a team of 10+ employees

Certificates

• Valid Forklift Operator License (Category 3324 or above) required.

• If not available, willingness to complete employer-provided training and obtain certification before starting work.

Language & Computer Skills

• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).

• Chinese language skills are an advantage.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for:
  KPI Tracking | Daily Reports | Inventory Data Analysis | Warehouse Performance Reporting

Competencies

• Strong team leadership, motivation, and training skills

• High level of responsibility and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively

• Good organizational and communication skills.
