Warehouse Coordinator
In this position you will coordinate warehouse activities within the warehouse floor to ensure achievement of defined objectives while maintaining a safe work environment.
Here is the challenge:
Supervise the fulfillment of warehousing safety rules.
Coordinate manning and shifts whenever required (in case of vacations or absences)
Generate daily warehouse reports.
Ensure that import and export weekly plans are met. Create alternative plans when needed and communicate to Shipping Coordinator or equivalent.
Control de cycle count accuracy within the warehouse. Create action plans when needed and communicate to involved parties.
Ensure the 5S execution within the Warehouse.
Participate in the Daily Production Meeting and act as liaison between Production and Warehouse.
Coordinate workload amongst the warehouse operators to ensure proper attainment of activities. The Warehouse Coordinator has the authority to modify a warehouse operator job or task whenever is needed.
Coordinate monthly physical counts in the production floor.
Coordinate yearly physical count for the whole site.
Participate in the preparation of near-accident reports.
Handle NCs that are related to Warehouse operations.
Support Supply Chain Manager or supervisor on specific projects needed.
Qualifications:
Complete High School Education (12th grade or equivalent)
Experience with team coordination
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Energetic
Ability to manage multiple projects
Intermediate English Level (preferable)
