Job Description

As a Warehouse Senior Assistant within the Distribution Center team in Singapore, you will support safe, accurate and efficient warehouse operations across divisions and floor levels. Reporting to the Warehouse Senior Associate, you will carry out the full range of warehouse activities, perform initial checks on discrepancies, complete basic administrative tasks and guide less-experienced assistants in operational procedures and system transactions.

  • Perform the full range of warehouse logistics activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, transferring and labelling goods, to maintain accurate inventory control.
  • Protect product quality and order accuracy by completing quantity and quality checks when goods are received and before delivery, including picking and packing activities.
  • Identify stock or operational discrepancies, perform initial checks and escalate issues with clear information to support the Warehouse Senior Associate.
  • Maintain reliable stock records by performing scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly physical cycle counts.
  • Respond flexibly to workload and operational priorities by supporting assigned tasks and rotating across divisions or floor levels for each shift, as directed by the manager.
  • Complete simple administrative tasks using Microsoft Office tools, including updating Excel sheets and writing and sending emails.
  • Guide less-experienced assistants on operational procedures and system transactions to support consistent execution.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment through warehouse housekeeping, proper care of equipment and compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.
  • Share operational feedback and support approved process improvements that strengthen service quality and efficiency.
  • Support supervisors with ad hoc operational tasks and complete them within the stipulated timeline.

What you will bring

  • “N” or “O” Level qualification, or higher, preferably in logistics or a relevant field of study.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and email.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork, with the confidence to guide less-experienced colleagues.
  • A meticulous and adaptable working style, with the ability to prioritise, take initiative, manage pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • The ability to work independently, perform initial investigations and demonstrate practical problem-solving skills.
