Summary
The Receiving Associate’s responsibility is to receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring that products and materials are accurately received and prepared for distribution or storage. You will work closely with the warehouse or inventory management team to maintain an efficient and organized receiving process.
Receiving:
Receives product in order of date arrived or by priority.
Locates order numbers and types (TSR, JPUS, P.O)
Accurately locates part number and quantities ordered.
Utilizes NAV to check in parts and record locations.
Knowledgeable of NAV and able to look up parts for old and new locations.
Understands the need to contact the purchasing department regarding receiving errors.
Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy when placing product in the proper location.
Understands and utilizes the “no-location” area and records information as necessary.
Communicates with Inventory Control with any location errors.
Manages, signs, and completes all required paperwork and turn in to the proper area.
Safely operates both the Counterbalance Lift Truck and the Narrow Aisle Lift Truck.
Loads and unloads containers and vans as needed.
Understands and is capable of checking and receiving “Annual Returns”.
Understands that safety is our top priority and nothing we do is more important than your own safety and the safety of others.

QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to interact with other individuals and departments in a professional and respectful way.
Must be certified on both forklift and reach truck.
Knowledgeable of NAV and how to navigate through the system.
Able to stand at least 8 hours and perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting objects up to 70lbs.
Able to work in hot and cool temperatures
