Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • B Com. or related B Degree (Business Management, Logistics or Transport)
  • Minimum of 5 Years relevant experience.
  • Experience in logistics and business software systems
  • Project Management qualification or relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • Executes the implementation of key strategic projects in the warehouse
  • Tracks and monitors performance and productivity measures, identify gaps and develops solutions to address the gaps
  • Identify and exercise operational efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Ensures standard processes are implemented and cookbooks are updated
  • Ensure standardization of productivity measures across all operations
  • Support the implementation and improvement of various systems, processes, resourcing and capability
  • Engage with and support the regions in implementation of initiatives.
  • Support regional management in problem solving to improve operational effectiveness
  • Share operational best practices across the supply chain
  • Manages collaboration across the value chain
  • Ensures benefits are derived for projects and value capture initiatives
