Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate

Schedule:Monday – Friday 12:00pm to 8:00pm, occasional overtime

$500 sign on bonus, paid out after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorizedmaterial handling equipment in a safe manner

• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment

• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material

• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)

• Clean the workspace as you go andparticipatewith the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.

• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders

• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years ofpreviouswarehouse / pipe yard experience isrequired

• General computer skills for basic data entry

• Forklift Operator experience isrequired

• Must have the ability to workoutdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures

• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50lbsby hand and 50lbsor more by using equipment

• High attention to detail.

• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.

• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
