Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
To safely unload inventory material, conduct physical inventories, issue and deliver material. Employee will also coordinate with vendors, Purchasing and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.

II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
• Unload trucks – Must have ability to pull/ back-up minimum 16 ft. long Flatbed Trailer
• Inventory material
• Handle freight claims and damage claims
• Locate material
• Issue material
• Deliver material, including chemicals and cylinders
• Conduct physical inventories
• Process material for payment to accounting
• Prepare inspection reports
• Housekeeping
• Coordinate with vendors, Purchasing, Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly close-outs
• Perform tasks in compliance with OSHA safety guidelines
• Will abide by Quality Policy in regard to ISO 9000 and will abide by the Environmental, Health and Safety regulations as they pertain to ISO 14001
• Work outside normal shift hours as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS
• Education
◦ High School graduate or equivalent required
◦ Valid Driver’s License
• Previous Related Experience Required
◦ High School Diploma or Equivalent and Valid DL required; prior inventory / warehouse experience in a commodity/spare parts warehouse preferred.
• Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job
◦ Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn.
◦ Forklift experience
◦ Prior Experience operating Truck with Flatbed Trailer; preferred.
◦ Strong Math Background; preferred.
◦ Use of PC and applicable software.
