ABOUT THE ROLE

Nadel is seeking an experienced and motivated Outbound Supervisor to lead daily order fulfillment operations within the Kansas City warehouse. This role is responsible for overseeing shipping, order fulfillment, team productivity, quality control, and operational efficiency to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day outbound operations including picking, packing, and shipping
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of 5–8 warehouse associates to meet performance and quality expectations
  • Own and drive outbound fulfillment SLAs, ensuring on-time and accurate order processing
  • Monitor workflow, labor allocation, and productivity to optimize throughput and efficiency
  • Partner with inbound, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order execution
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and reporting tools to monitor productivity and shipment status
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Assist with labor planning, scheduling, attendance management, and performance management activities
  • Support peak season operations and overtime needs as business demands require
  • Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times
     
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5+ years of warehouse or fulfillment experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in outbound/shipping operations preferred
  • Strong understanding of pick/pack/ship operations and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) systems preferred.
  • Ability to analyze productivity metrics and drive operational performance
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment


WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures dn noise levels
