Pay: $22.00 per hour
The Order Shipping position is responsible for ensuring the accurate shipping of all outbound
orders, invoicing, and releasing of completed trucks.
Major Responsibilities
Order Entry - Shipping (80%)
1. Entering weights for all catch weighted items.
2. Cutting or adding product to orders as needed.
3. Printing and organizing invoices.
4. Releasing completed trucks.
Communicating With Delis (10%)
1. Contacting stores with quantity questions.
2. Sending shortage lists.
3. Managing Add/Remove/Will Call sheet
Miscellaneous (10%)
1. Working with the Selector Manager on selection processes, and assist in order selecting when the need arises.
2. Organizing Thursday lunch orders.
3. Stocking Selector supplies
Decision-Making - Ability to make decisions to effectively and efficiently ship complete orders.
Job Qualifications:
Must be able to learn basic job routines, follow verbal direction and perform efficiently without
direct supervision. Applicants must also be able to read, write, and communicate in English
effectively, must be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication,
and division. The applicant must be either enrolled in high school or certified G.E.D. program or have their
high school diploma or G.E.D. The applicant must be age 18 or over. All applicants must be willing to be subject to pre-
employment and random drug testing as a prerequisite of employment, because of the exposure
to heavy equipment.
Other Information Ability to work in extreme hot and cold working conditions.
