Job Description

For this position, you are required to be on-site daily Monday to Friday, in Sinzig. In addition, you must be fluent in German, be within commutable distance to the site and possess a Fork Lift Licence.

  • Goods receipt & quality inspection (quantity and quality)
  • Storage of parts while taking into account efficient warehouse management and the storage system
  • Material provision and testing according to material withdrawal slips
  • Picking, assembling load units and preparing accompanying documents
  • Professional and proper packaging of goods and merchandise
  • Care and maintenance of packaging tools and equipment
  • Marking, labelling and securing shipments in compliance with legal requirements
  • Recording and posting of warehouse or production-relevant data in the ERP system
  • Loading and unloading activities
  • Inventories and inventory controls
  • Planning the warehouse organization and structure Inventory monitoring and optimization in cooperation with purchasing
  • Creation, processing and follow-up of supplier complaints, correspondence with suppliers inside and outside the company, nationally and internationally
  • Other reasonable activities within the scope of operational necessities

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist
  • Sound experience in the described field of activity
  • Valid forklift license and sufficient driving experience
  • Confident handling of IT
  • Flexibility, communication and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage
  • Structured, proactive working style and organizational skills
  • Independent and service-oriented way of working as well as a sense of responsibility
