Position Summary

Join our warehouse team in an entry-level role that combines hands-on warehouse work with short shuttle runs between company facilities. As a Warehouse Operator you will help move, pick, stage, load, and transport products safely and accurately in a cold-storage environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Move, stack, and stage products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Shuttle products between company locations using a Class A CDL vehicle.
  • Pick cases, build pallets, and prepare completed orders for shipment.
  • Scan products and confirm items are moved to the correct locations.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Check products for visible quality, packaging, or labeling concerns.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) product-rotation procedures.
  • Complete daily vehicle and equipment safety inspections and report concerns.
  • Assist with re-labeling, re-stacking, product dating, sanitation, and other rework as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow company safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
  • Work with team members to support daily warehouse and shipping needs.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Ability to safely operate, or willingness to learn to operate, forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and learn product-scanning systems.
  • Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
  • Comfort working in cold-storage temperatures ranging from 0-35 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, forklift, or cold-storage experience is helpful but not required.
  • No extensive warehouse experience is required. Candidates with a Class A CDL who are dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Location & Work Environment

Clemens Food Group, Tyrone, PA | On-site | First shift, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday (possible Saturday)

This role regularly works in cold-storage conditions between 0-35 degrees Fahrenheit and may be exposed to moving equipment, loud noise, vibration, and occasional work at heights. Required PPE may include steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, a hard hat, and a safety harness.
