Job Description

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

The warehouse operator processes orders, accepts deliveries, and keeps the warehouse organized, which includes everything from physically moving product around the warehouse space and recording these movements to properly maintaining all shipping and receiving recording and put away.

Rotational shift with one week of evening shifts (12:30–21:00, Mon–Fri) every four weeks. During this week, the employee is also on-call for urgent orders outside regular hours, including nights and weekends.

Essential Job Functions

  • Operates a forklift and preferable reach truck licensed.
  • Must meet quality and productivity metrics.
  • Receiving and put away.
  • Picking and Packing
  • Loading and Unloading
  • Complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly.
  • Accurately and courteously load client merchandise.
  • Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the account coordinator to insure prompt resolution.

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
  • Regularly lift and/or move 20 kilograms and occasionally lift and/or move 20 kilograms by hand

  • High attention to detail in reviewing stock and identifying discrepancies
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Balances individual responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in liaising with clients

Education & Experience

  • 3 years warehouse experience preferred.

The requirements for this position are as following:

  • Driver license - B category

  • VGB / VOG screening

  • Forklift / reach truck licence

  • Rotational shift with one week of evening shifts (12:30–21:00, Mon–Fri) every four weeks. During this week, the employee is also on-call for urgent orders outside regular hours, including nights and weekends.
  • During evening shift/on-call week, he/she is provided with a company car to be used for work related travel + phone.
