Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator for our night shift operations.

This is a hands-on warehouse role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for more than just forklift operation. Inventory accuracy, safe dispatch, and GMP compliance are all part of the job.

The Role

Position: Warehouse Operator

Location: Ingleburn

Shift: Night Shift 8.30pm to 04.36am, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)

Rate: $33.10 base + 30% night shift loading.

Key Responsibilities

• Present to shift fit, safe, and PPE-compliant, ready to perform duties safely throughout.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately using FIFO, verifying product codes, quantities and expiry dates before packaging.
• Operate forklifts and high reach safely, including daily pre-operational checks and load/unload trucks in line with your high-risk licence and CoR requirements, including driver communication.
• Monitor and record temperatures in cool rooms, cream rooms, and freezers, reporting any deviations immediately.
• Manage inventory accuracy using RF guns, including stock counts, pallet labelling, and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
• Inspect products and pallets for quality, rejecting and quarantining damaged, expired, or incorrect items.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work area, following SOPs, GMP requirements and reporting all damage, incidents, and near misses.
• Support the wider warehouse team with receiving, stock counts, and other duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• Current Forklift Licence (LF class)
• Proven warehouse/logistics experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Safety-first mindset with a strong sense of personal accountability
• Physically fit for sustained manual handling including repetitive lifting of loads up to 25kg
• Available to work 5 to 6 days per week including occasional weekends

Highly Desirable

• High reach forklift experience
• RF gun/WMS or ERP system experience
• GMP and food safety compliance experience
• Chain of Responsibility (CoR) awareness
• Food manufacturing or FMCG background
