Sandvik Mining & Rock is recruiting a WarehouseTechnician for our White Pine facility located at 3307, Old Airport Road White Pine, TN.
JOB PURPOSE
To execute the operations functions at a transactional level and to lead small task teams within the relevant warehouse section toultimately meetkey performance indicators within the guidelines of all established policies and procedures. You will contribute to a clean and safe working environment ensuring an effective and efficient execution of the distribution operations, profitability of the organization and customer satisfaction through performing basic distribution operational processesmaintainingquality and productivity standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive correct parts and quantities in time and on time
Assistwith stock counts – Wall to wall and cycle counts
Receiving of inbound purchase orders or transfer orders
Put-away/binning of stock
Picking of orders
Packing of orders
Assistin accurately and methodically preparing shipping/export documentation for relevant orders
Maintains and update warehouse location data in Sandvik systems
Completes detailed administrative data entry in Sandvik IT system
Reports any discrepancieswith regard toinventory,safetyand other anomalies
Handles customer queries when requested to sort out relevant issues (Internal and external customers)
Make deliveries to customer location on rotation (internal and external)
Participates in continuous improvement projects
LPS support
Ensure that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that safety procedures are followed
On call
Warehouse administration and housekeeping
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
1-2 years’ experience in Warehousing/ Distribution/ Supply Chain environment, Inventory
Forklift driving experience/certification Ability to use RFT, Warehouse Management System, Badge relatedsystemsand other warehouse systems as assigned.
EDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATES
High School or equivalent experience. Post-secondary education/training in business or supply chain discipline would be of advantage. Forklift driving experience/certification
OTHER:
Desirable English Proficiency: Upper Intermediate (CEFR B2/ Completed EF level 9) Must be able to read and interpret customer orders,proceduresand policies. Ability to effectively communicatetomanagers, supervisors, teamleadsand other employees to address customer or warehouse issues. Must be able to read,writeand speak English fluently.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly range for this position is $21.00-$23.00 dependent on experience.
