Job Details:

  • $22.00 per hour (including shift premium)
  • 2nd Shift - 12:50pm-9:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Overtime is required based on business and production needs and is typically planned and posted in advance

Perform various warehouse and inventory tasks. Receive, process, store, move, and distribute items (products, materials, ingredients, equipment, supplies, etc.) within a warehouse or cooler/refrigerated environment. Unload and load trucks, truck trailers, cases, pallets, stacks, etc. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or electric hand truck. Record received and shipped items. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Work within clearly defined processes and tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, sort, bundle, label, and move materials and product as assigned; place items on racks, shelves, bins, containers, or assembled units according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code to support efficient material flow
  • Store and manage perishable goods in refrigerated areas while maintaining organization, stock rotation, and overall neatness of all coolers and warehouse locations to preserve product quality
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials, tools, or other items and distribute to production workers to support operational needs
  • Accurately pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipping and efficient loading onto trucks or trailers to meet delivery requirements
  • Verify shipment and receiving accuracy by reviewing orders and bills of lading and inspecting products for cleanliness and condition prior to shipping or receiving
  • Use computer systems and scanning tools to accurately record, scan, enter, and maintain inventory data and related records
  • Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, production take backs, and assist with monthly and year‑end inventory counts to support inventory accuracy and control
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and standing forklifts, to load and unload trucks and transport inventory safely between locations
  • Monitor materials, product, and equipment at each step of the process and report irregularities, quality concerns, or safety issues to supervision or QA personnel in accordance with DFA GMPs and corporate, regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while optimizing space utilization to support efficient and compliant operations

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience
  • Certification and/or License – may require forklift, walk behind jack, or other related work certifications

Qualifications:

  • Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse/cooler team
  • Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing (including legible writing)
  • Able to perform routine machine adjustments
  • Able to adapt to changing situations and perform tasks as assigned
  • Able to follow directions
  • Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
