We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our Sainsbury's contract within the Ambient Chamber team in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH) Whether you're experienced in warehousing or looking to start a career in logistics, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team with excellent training and development opportunities.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll help ensure stores receive the right products, at the right time, and in excellent condition. Working in our Ambient Chamber – a warehouse environment storing room-temperature products – you'll be responsible for picking orders, moving stock, and preparing goods for dispatch, playing a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly and efficiently.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 out of 7 days, rotating between the following shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00

Please note: There is no public transport available to the site, so you must be able to travel independently to LS25 6JH for the required shift times.

What you'll do on a typical day

• Pick and pack customer orders using a voice-picking system
• Support other warehouse-related activities as required throughout your shift
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and warehouse standards
• Operate MHE equipment where required (full training provided)

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous, but not essential
• A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to work
• The ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling
• A strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
