Permanent | Full-Time

Overtime paid at time and a half

Performance bonus earning potential of up to £1,200 extra per month

At Culina Chilled and Fresh, we're looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our Warehouse team at Aylesford.

This isn't just about turning up and doing a shift. We're looking for people who enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in doing a good job and are motivated by achieving results.

You’ll receive a £30,970 annual salary (equivalent to £14.18 per hour based on 42 paid hours per week), with the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime paid at time and a half and our performance-based Pick Bonus, with earning potential of up to an additional £1,200 per month for high performers.

If you enjoy a fast-paced environment where effort, accuracy and performance are recognised, this could be the opportunity for you.

The role is based within our chilled warehouse, operating at approximately 3°C, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment.

What you'll be doing:

You'll play a key role in keeping our customer orders moving safely, accurately and on time.

Your day will include:

• Picking customer orders accurately within our chilled warehouse
• Operating a PPT ride-on pallet truck
• Building pallets safely and efficiently
• Checking that every order contains the correct products and quantities
• Moving palletised goods safely around the warehouse
• Working towards clear productivity and performance KPIs
• Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
• Keeping your working area clean, organised and safe
• Working together with your team to deliver for our customers

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

You don't need to tick every box. What matters most is having the right attitude and being prepared to work hard as part of the team.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Recent experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment
• The confidence to work towards clear targets and KPIs
• PPT experience, although this is desirable rather than essential
• Good communication skills
• Good numerical accuracy
• A strong approach to safety and quality
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively in a chilled environment

Most importantly, we're looking for people who turn up, work safely, support their team and take pride in delivering a great job.
