The Warehouse Operative supports day-to-day warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, picking, packing, stock control and general warehouse organisation. This role requires accuracy, speed, consistency and a strong work ethic.

Key responsibilities:

Goods In

· Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries.

· Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies.

· Accurately book stock into warehouse systems.

· Store products in designated locations.

Order Fulfilment

· Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.

· Prepare wholesale, retail B2B, D2C and export orders.

· Ensure correct labelling and documentation.

· Maintain high standards of presentation and packaging.

Stock Control

· Assist with cycle counts and stock audits.

· Report stock discrepancies.

· Maintain organised and clearly labelled storage areas.

· Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures where required.

Warehouse Standards & Safety

· Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

· Follow all health & safety procedures.

· Operate warehouse equipment safely (where trained and authorised).

· Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Contribution

· Work collaboratively with colleagues.

· Meet daily productivity targets.

· Communicate operational issues promptly.

· Support busy periods and peak demand.

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Reliable and Punctual

· Strong attention to detail

· Basic numeracy and Literacy skills

· Previous warehouse or manual handling experience

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Forklift license (not essential)

· Familiarity with warehouse management systems (not essential)
