The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations and System Specialist (EWM) to support daily warehouse and distribution center activities while serving as the primary on-site resource for system-related functions, including SAP EWM, Power BI, RFID technology, and SEPP. This role connects warehouse operations with supporting systems to ensure reliable day-to-day execution, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement across warehouse processes. You will support operational activities such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counts while also maintaining system configurations, master data, and reporting that enable accurate material flow and operational visibility. The role requires close collaboration with operations, supply chain, and IT partners to translate warehouse challenges into practical system and process improvements that support service and distribution activities within the power industry.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Serve as the primary on-site resource for SAP EWM daily operations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Support core warehouse activities such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counts
Maintain and improve system master data, user configurations, and process parameters
Configure, support, and maintain warehouse technologies including RFID devices and handheld equipment
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support performance tracking and operational visibility
Work with operations, supply chain, and IT teams to resolve system issues impacting workflow
Identify and support process improvements that streamline workflows and improve system and warehouse effectiveness
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or distribution center systems support
Hands-on experience supporting SAP EWM in a warehouse or distribution environment
Experience working with warehouse technologies such as RFID devices, handhelds, and related systems
Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse team members, supervisors, and management
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting operational priorities
