All about the role:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor leads second-shift warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate flow of inbound and outbound products. This role oversees daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities while maintaining high standards for service, quality, productivity, and safety. As the primary on-site leader for second shift, the Operations Supervisor drives operational continuity, supports employee development, ensures timely decision-making, and executes customer requirements effectively. The role also fosters workforce engagement, champions continuous improvement initiatives, and contributes to the overall operational excellence of the Regional Distribution Center.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and oversee second shift warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling, to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted workflow.
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipment performance while maintaining high customer service standards and operational excellence.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions to address workflow inefficiencies, inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damages.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and compliance by enforcing company policies, OSHA standards, operating procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Inventory Control, Transportation, Planning, Fulfillment, Human Resources, and Safety teams to support business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates through performance management, training, employee engagement, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by analyzing operational data, implementing Lean and cost-saving initiatives, and enhancing safety, productivity, quality, and service performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain or a related field.
  • Proven people leadership skills with a strong track record of team building, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in reducing costs, improving processes, leading change initiatives, and continuously improving operations.
  • Strong knowledge of MO - Excell, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including load planning, routing, and shipment optimization while balancing service and cost objectives.
