About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role provides direct leadership to warehouse staff, drives process improvements, and promotes a strong culture of safety and accountability. Collaborates cross-functionally to support business needs, resolve issues, and maintain service excellence. In addition, this role oversees facility maintenance, equipment management, and vendor coordination to ensure a safe, organized, and high-performing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members; manage staffing, scheduling, and performance to meet operational goals
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective controls, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and implementing best practices in workflow, layout, and productivity
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulatory requirements; promote a strong culture of workplace safety
- Oversee facility maintenance, including coordination of repairs, preventative maintenance, and vendor management to ensure a safe and well-functioning environment
- Manage warehouse equipment, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and timely repairs
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, and service levels
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent and efficient operations
- Support budgeting and cost control efforts related to labor, equipment, and facility expenses
- Respond to and resolve operational issues, escalations, and service concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Lead organizational change initiatives and cultivate a culture of innovation to improve operational effectiveness and adapt to evolving business needs.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Monday through Friday day shift; flexibility with schedule required due to additional days/hours during peak periods.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse and cooler environment (approx. 34 degrees)
- At times, this is a physical position that requires lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking and standing for extended periods of time.

QualificationsWhat you’ll Bring
- Must have at least 3 years previous warehouse leadership experience with automated or manual processes.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to adapt to change in a positive manner and motivate employees through these changes.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications and past experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
- Prior knowledge/experience working with, or handling perishables is preferred.
- Prior experience operating forklift, power jack, order picker is preferred.
