Job Description

The incumbent will oversee daily air freight warehouse operations. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient cargo handling, regulatory compliance, operational productivity, inventory accuracy, and service excellence for import, export, and transshipment cargo.

  • Manage end-to-end warehouse operations for air freight import, export, and transshipment cargo.
  • Oversee both inbound shipments and outbound shipments processes.
  • Ensure timely cargo processing to meet airline cut-off times and customer delivery schedules to ensure agreed SLAs and met.
  • Manage warehouse space utilization and cargo storage optimization.
  • Monitor cargo discrepancies, damages, and claims handling.
  • Coordinate closely with airline handlers, transport providers, customs brokers, and freight operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as RACAR and CAAS requirements, DG (Dangerous Goods) handling procedures, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and internal company policies.
  • Attend site audits by regulatory authorities such as CAAS and Customs.
  • Investigate operational incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse operations staff.
  • Plan manpower allocation and shift scheduling to support operational requirements.
  • Conduct training on SOPs, safety procedures, cargo handling, and operational systems.
  • Prepare reports for management review.
  • Prepare for certifications such as RACAR renewals.

Requirements
