Job Description

About Grover

Founded in 2015, Grover enables consumers and businesses across Europe to subscribe to tech devices and comprehensive technology solutions - from individual smartphones, laptops, and wearables to full corporate device setups. The company offers access to over 1,000 unique tech items on flexible and financially convenient terms. A pioneer of the circular economy, Grover refurbishes and recirculates devices to help eliminate e-waste.

To continue this incredible adventure, we are currently looking for Warehouse Operations Associates to join our talented Circular Supply Chain team full-time (40 hours/week) onsite 5 days a week in the Berlin Metropolitan area.

We are hiring across four core operational tracks: Picking & Packing, Inbound and Inventory Management. Depending on your background, skills, and experience level, you will start by supporting the stream where you can make the biggest impact. Because we are rapidly scaling our operations, this is just your starting point - we actively provide cross-training and skill rotation, offering you massive room for internal development and upward progression across our entire supply chain.

Within any stream, you will be a key contributor to our day-to-day operational rhythm. Working closely with your Team Lead, you will ensure that tech assets are safely handled, accurately tracked, and securely processed, maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of products through our circular supply chain.

🎯 What you will contribute:

  • Operational Execution: Master the daily rhythms of your assigned track - whether running fulfillment lines, operating machinery, evaluating returned tech hardware, or overseeing inventory.
  • Inbound & Outbound Handling Handle daily inbound and outbound processes, including receiving shipments (unloading trucks), unpacking devices, picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for secure and timely dispatch.
  • Ergonomic Load Management Safely handle consumer electronics and packages in line with German health and safety standards ( Lastenhandhabungsverordnung), utilizing provided mechanical lifting aids where appropriate. Occasional handling of heavier items (up to 30 kg) will always be done with team lifting or mechanical assistance.
  • Inventory Control: Put away, pick, and pack goods while performing regular stock counts, organizing storage areas, and verifying serial numbers.
  • Digital Logging Utilize handheld Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners to ensure every item is accurately logged in our system.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Identify and report any product damage or discrepancies to the Team Lead immediately. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and strictly follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

🤝 What you bring:

  • Experience: Practical experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environment is preferred (ideally within e-commerce or consumer electronics). Additional experience with light grading, returns triage, or handling B-stock is a strong plus.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfort using digital warehouse tools, including handheld scanners and basic inventory software.
  • Detail-Oriented High attention to detail, especially when matching serial numbers and tracking product inventory.
  • Stamina & Safety Focus: Great reliability, a collaborative work ethic, and the physical stamina required for walking, standing, and lifting under safe ergonomic guidelines.
  • Targeted Skills (Strong Pluses): A valid forklift certification ( Flurförderzeugschein) is highly valued for our equipment-focused logistics tracks.
  • Language Skills: Good communication skills in English. B2+ German and additional languages would be considered a strong plus.

🚀 The Grover Way - How We Drive Success:

  • Own It: We take ownership seriously and define what success looks like. We drive shared ownership and don't wait - we drive. We keep one another accountable and take responsibility when issues arise.
  • Challenge, Decide, and Commit: We engage in proactive support, active listening, and healthy conflict to reach the best outcomes. We value diverse perspectives and, once a decision is made, we commit to it fully.
  • Empower and Grow: We enable, trust, and coach one another toward high performance, always thinking and acting like owners. We seek growth, apply feedback, and support the development of our peers.
  • Respect, Transparency, and Clarity: We strive for clear, respectful, and open communication with no surprises. We simplify complex information so everyone knows the "what, why, and how".

❤️‍🔥 What you will love about us:

  • BVG monthly discount to drive you everywhere in Berlin
  • Virtual or In-person Coaching Sessions with the FĂĽrstenberg Institut
  • Physical health support with Urban Sports Club
  • Annual learning budget of 750€
  • Exclusive Grover Tech discount for you & your loved ones

Embark on a rewarding journey with the Grover Rocketship, where your impact is felt, and together, we cultivate a more circular world. đź’š

About Grover

Grover is the global leader in technology rentals, enabling people and empowering businesses to subscribe to tech products monthly instead of buying them.

Founded in 2015 by Michael Cassau, Grover’s mission is to make exceptional technology more accessible, because technology is a basic human right. With Grover and Grover Business, subscribers and companies get access to a wide range of tech products, including smartphones, laptops and smartwatches on a flexible, monthly rental basis.

Once a product rental period has ended, Grover’s service allows its users to return the product free of charge. They can also decide to extend the product rental length or exchange the product for something else. Grover Business even takes care of the tech procurement and management process so that companies can stay focused on growth.

Rentals are available in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Spain at GROVER.COM, as well as in Germany through Grover’s online and offline partner network, including Europe’s leading electronics retail group, MediaMarktSaturn.

Grover is a pioneer in the circular economy: Its business model of renting out and refurbishing tech products contributes to devices being used more frequently and for a longer period. This increases the potential to avoid e-waste. To date, Grover has circulated more than 1.2 million devices in total.

With total funding of around €1.4 billion to date and over 400 employees, Grover is one of the fastest-growing scaleups in Europe.
