About the role

An exciting new opportunity as arisen for a Warehouse Trainee to join AGL at our Loy Yang Power Station located in the Latrobe Valley and kickstart their career in the Energy industry. You will be responsible for providing effective warehouse operations to service customers within the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Effectively perform functions associated with receipting, storage, issue and cycle counting of all materials within the AGL Loy Yang warehousing operation
  • Ensure compliance with AGL Loy Yang Warehouse procedures and business rules regarding receipt, issue, storage and cycle counting of all materials and equipment
  • Maintain a customer focused approach in providing warehouse services
  • Where directed, provide driving pick-up and delivery of items that are safe for transport in the dedicated warehouse delivery vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements

About You

This opportunity will suit an individual who is looking to start their career in Warehousing and able to demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team. Upon the successful completion of your traineeship, you will be rewarded with a TLI30321 Cert 3 Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing).

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Safety conscious mindset
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn
  • Driver’s licence is required for the role
