Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the overall Inbound (receiving and put-away) operations and stocks compression activities of the warehouse.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Ensures accurate, efficient, and timely receiving and put-away of goods as well as compression of stocks in accordance with the set guidelines.
2. Ensures that the department meets cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Regularly analyzes data to assess team performance, addresses gaps and implements improvements in the overall Inbound operations.
3. Communicates closely with relevant stakeholders (i.e. Import, Purchasing) to ensure smooth flow in the overall Inbound operations.
4. Works closely with other warehouse sections in addressing concerns and issues that may impact the efficiency and targets of the whole Warehouse operations.
5. Ensures that proper training is given to the Inbound team members and guides them in the performance of their duties. Reviews, evaluates, and appraises their performance and recommends commendation, developmental plan, promotion, disciplinary action or hiring of new personnel.
6. Monitors compliance by team member to established standard operating policies and procedures, job duties, and special assignments. Ensures conformance by conducting random check on system transactions and documentations.
7. Regularly prepares and submits required reports.
8. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills Requirement

1. Graduate of any 4 or 5-year course, preferably Business Management, Engineering, or related field
2. At least 8 years of work experience in supply chain and warehouse operations, preferably of a retail company, and at least 3 years of which in a supervisorial capacity
3. Strong leadership and people management skills
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills, customer-oriented
5. Team-player, resilient and with high stress tolerance, with critical thinking skills
6. Computer literate and data-driven
