We are seeking an experienced Material Control Manager to lead warehouse and material control operations at our New Albany facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring safety, inventory accuracy, production support, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, storage, material staging, inventory, and material flow.
• Direct and develop warehouse employees while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure materials are available to support production schedules on time and in full (OTIF).
• Oversee inventory accuracy for raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods.
• Audit and reconcile SAP inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure warehouse performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, optimize warehouse layout, and minimize unnecessary material handling.
• Establish and maintain warehouse SOPs, Work Instructions, standard work, and training programs.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while managing performance expectations and completing performance reviews.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and customers to support operational and distribution needs.
• Lead safety initiatives and support investigations related to safety, quality, inventory, and operational issues.
• Manage department budgets and control operating costs.
• Support new product launches, equipment implementations, and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, performance, and other required documentation.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of warehouse/distribution experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP MM/SD/WM and RF Scanning.
• Experience in personal care, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, FDA GMPs, and OSHA requirements.

Working Conditions

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit at a computer and stand/walk in the warehouse for extended periods.
• Ability to wear required PPE and work around forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• May require flexibility to support off-shift operations as business needs require.

Leadership Responsibility

This position manages up to 4 exempt employees and leads a warehouse team of up to 50 non-exempt employees.
