Job Description

Lead and manage warehouse operations for assigned facilities across all shifts to maximize utilization of assigned assets, and optimize staffing resources to meet or exceed safety, quality, and productivity KPI's. Will oversee several functional areas: shipping, receiving, dispatch/admin, 3PL shuttle providers and carriers.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Provide overall leadership for the operation of assigned facilities, including maintaining a safe work culture with a goal towards zero injuries and zero environmental impact, ensuring that all products received, warehoused, and shipped meet customer requirements and specifications, and quality standards are enforced as it pertains to Rockline’s quality management systems and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and support metrics, KPIs, and scorecards to ensure performance targets and strategic objectives are met.
  • Accountable for continuous improvement, asset performance, and processes/procedures for safety, quality, and cost (productivity, waste reduction), team development/training.
  • Develop standard rates for output and staffing for all assigned facilities on an annual basis.
  • Responsible for all cost quoting for volume changes to include staffing required, equipment needs, and identify/eliminate possible roadblocks.
  • Analyzes and assess distribution performance and trends and aligns proper resources or assign projects to effectively resolve challenges.
  • Identifies and promotes continuous improvement activities with team related to equipment, process-based business results, and staffing.
  • Liaison with external departments (Planning & Scheduling, Purchasing, Tech Support, Quality, Global Engineering, and 3PL service providers etc.) in support of meeting customer expectations and business performance goals.
  • Ensures that customer expectations are understood and met by all members of the Distribution Team. May lead or participate in customer tours and audits.
  • Lead and participate in selection and development of new manufacturing associates to develop teams that deliver distribution excellence.
  • Support creation and adhere to distribution budget to include monthly variance reviews.
  • Product Security Sensitive – As a product sourcing facility our customers require Rockline to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo, such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these “outbound” shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.

Qualification Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Warehouse Manager I:
    • External – Bachelor’s Degree required in engineering, supply chain, operations management or business and 4 years of warehouse or warehouse support experience with 3 years supervisory leadership experience.
  • Warehouse Manager II:
    • External – Bachelor’s degree required preferably in operations, engineering, supply chain, operations management or business and 6 years of warehouse or warehouse support experience with 4 years of supervisory leadership.

Located in Tennessee, Iatric Manufacturing Solutions, a fully owned subsidary of Rockline, is dedicated to helping foster healthy environments through the design and manufacturing of FDA-regulated wipes for use in the consumer, health care, food service, and hospitality industries. Iatric will operate out of a new 435,000-square-foot state-of-the-art FDA-registered facility in Morristown, TN. The wholly owned subsidiary was born out of the rapidly increasing demand for Rockline’s innovative wet wipes products that are designed to support healthier, sanitary environments and personal hygiene. The new plant will be operational beginning in 2019 and is expected to employ 250 people.
