Warehouse Supervisor

Creedmoor - North Carolina, USA

About Ontic Creedmoor

Our 100,000 sq ft Creedmoor facility brings together a broad mix of electronic, avionic and electro-mechanical aerospace capabilities, alongside several businesses within the Ontic Group.

From flight-control actuators and cockpit instrumentation to fire-protection systems and data recorders, the teams at Creedmoor support a diverse portfolio of products that perform critical functions across civil and military aircraft.

It's a collaborative, fast-moving environment where engineering, manufacturing, quality and support teams work together to solve complex challenges. For people who like taking ownership, finding better ways to do things and seeing the impact of their work, there's plenty of opportunity to make a difference.

The opportunity

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Ontic, you'll lead the daily warehouse operations that keep our manufacturing teams supplied and customer deliveries moving. You'll oversee material receiving, inventory control, storage, kitting and shipping while ensuring materials are handled accurately, safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you'll coach and develop warehouse personnel, establish clear priorities and take ownership of inventory accuracy, material flow and operational performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory records and traceability.

Working closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing, you'll help resolve material shortages, improve warehouse processes and support reliable production and customer delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, material movement, storage, inventory control, kitting, cycle counting and shipping, while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
  • Supervise, coach and develop warehouse personnel, establishing clear daily priorities, performance expectations and accountability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions within Epicor ERP, maintaining material traceability, inventory integrity and compliance with established procedures.
  • Drive inventory record accuracy and cycle-count performance, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Coordinate material availability, kit readiness and shortage resolution with Planning, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing to support production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Oversee inventory controls, including quality holds, material review, returns to vendors, excess and obsolete inventory, while supporting accurate and timely customer shipments.
  • Champion continuous improvement through standardized work, workplace organization, visual management and process improvements that strengthen safety, inventory accuracy, productivity and material flow.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations, materials management, logistics, inventory control or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop and hold teams accountable for operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, material transactions, cycle counting, inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and maintaining accurate inventory records and material transactions.
  • Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize daily operations, resolve issues and collaborate across departments.
  • A hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to identify operational risks, drive corrective actions and support continuous improvement.
  • Desirable: Experience with Epicor ERP, Aerospace & Defense manufacturing, AS9100 quality standards, Lean, Six Sigma or APICS/ASCM practices or certifications.
